Proceedings
The Proceedings of QCMC 2010 will be published by the American Institute of Physics, with Tim Ralph and Ping Koy Lam as editors. The proceedings volume will be a hardcover book. An online version will be published simultaneously with the printed book. The book and its online version will have a Volume number in the AIP Conference Proceedings Series, ISSN and ISBN, and will be registered at the Library of Congress. The AIP will send two copies of the print proceedings to the Library of Congress. There will be AIP Copyright.

All conference participants will be sent one copy of the proceedings volume. All conference participants will also have free unlimited access to the online version for one year.

To submit the manuscript, please email the following to r.forrest@physics.uq.edu.au (Subject: Proceedings) by Friday 26 November 2010:

1. A PDF file with your manuscript

2. An archive file with the source files (e.g. LaTeX text + EPS graphics)

3. The copyright transfer form and other forms as explained in the instructions (the signature forms can also be faxed to +61 7 3346 1214).

In the body of your email, please indicate the number of the corresponding paper in the Conference Program (e.g. MON-1 or P1-30). The title of the paper may differ from that presented at the meeting, but the manuscript contents must be closely related to your conference presentation.

Manuscripts not complying with the AIP instructions or with the necessary forms missing cannot be published.

Frequently asked questions:

When will submissions open? Submissions will open in mid-September and close in mid-November. There will be an email notification of the opening of submissions with instructions for submission posted on this site.

Are the Proceedings refereed? The Proceedings manuscripts themselves are not refereed. However, all abstracts submitted to the conference in early 2010 have been peer reviewed. Acceptance of your abstract for presentation at the conference automatically entails a possibility to publish in the Proceedings.

When will I get my copy of the Proceedings volume? Tentatively in the 2nd quarter, 2011.

Manuscript preparation

All presenters are encouraged to submit a manuscript. The instructions and templates for preparing the manuscript can be found at http://proceedings.aip.org/proceedings/6x9.jsp. The space allocation is as follows:

  1. Contributed talks and posters: 4 pages;
  2. Invited talks: 6 pages;
  3. Award talks: 10 pages.

Remember that your manuscript will be published as is from the PDF file you supplied. AIP will not recompile or typeset any papers.
